Donald Trump caused outrage among viewers during a 2026 World Cup press conference alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
Trump and Infantino held the conference in the Oval Office, where it was confirmed that the World Cup draw will take place in Washington on December 5.
The 79-year-old was stood alongside his vice-president, JD Vance.
A replica World Cup trophy was placed on a table in front of the trio, with Trump jokingly asking Infantino if he could keep it with him.

But a moment later in the press conference went viral when Trump held up a photo of himself stood with Russian president Vladimir Putin, which he intends to autograph.
He said: "I thought you'd all like to see it. He may be coming [to the World Cup], and he may not. We have a lot of things happening in the coming weeks.
"I thought it was a nice picture of him. Nice of him. That was very nice, that it was sent to me."
But his tone quickly changed when a reporter then immediately asked him to comment on a US factory being struck by a Russian air strike in Ukraine on Thursday.
"I told him, I'm not happy about it. And I'm not happy about anything to do with that war," he said.

Trump continued: "I've settled seven wars. And actually, if you think about pre-wars, add three more, it'd be 10. I thought this would be in the middle of the pack in terms of difficulty. I'm not happy about anything about that war. Nothing. Not happy at all."
In the background, Infantino - more than slightly awkwardly - watched on as Trump delivered his remarks to the media.

Responding to the exchange on Twitter, one viewer wrote: "What the hell is going on."

A second added: "He's such an embarrassment."
A third said: "Gianni Infantino's face when Trump said he wants to invite Putin to the World Cup."
And a fourth claimed: "With this total madness, we finally see the first flicker of 'How the f**k did I get here' on Infantino's face."
