Real Madrid legend Dani Carvajal has sent a stern warning to Trent Alexander-Arnold when speaking about the Englishman's arrival ahead of the new season.
Last month, after weeks of speculation, it was confirmed that Alexander-Arnold had left boyhood club Liverpool for Madrid ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Since then, the full-back has made his first three appearances for Los Blancos.

After a difficult start against Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, the 26-year-old produced much-improved performances against Pachuca and RB Salzburg.
Heading into the new season, it is widely expected that Alexander-Arnold would be new manager Xabi Alonso's first choice right back, replacing Carvajal, who is now edging closer to a return after a serious knee injury.
Speaking recently, the 33-year-old Spaniard declared that after months of recovery, he is 'ready to compete', sounding out a clear warning to Alexander-Arnold.
As reported by Defensa Central, Carvajal said: "Nine months have passed and I'm ready to compete. I know myself and I know that if they let me on the field, I'll give everything, without fear, at full throttle, and going in for every ball from the very first moment.
"What I will notice is the spark and the level of competition, because obviously you feel it after being out for so long."

Carvajal then admitted that it was 'logical' for Madrid to bring in Alexander-Arnold.
He continued: "On a professional level, it's logical: in every team and in every position, there are new people coming in. I take it as a personal challenge that I love to compete. Having important challenges ahead, and hopefully that competition, healthy, I repeat, will make the team much better.
"Trent has adapted phenomenally, he's treated everyone fantastically. He had a lot of trust with Jude, but he's super friendly with everyone. When we've had a free afternoon, he's come out to walk, to have dinner, and the guy is really, really great."
