Football legend Chris Kamara has revealed that only five people showed up to a Soccer Saturday reunion, and fans are not happy about it.
After a 24 year run that saw him become one of the most popular names in football punditry, Kamara, best known by his nickname 'Kammy', left Sky Sports at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Announcing the decision in May 2022, the pundit said: "My time on Soccer AM, Goals on Sunday and, of course, on Soccer Saturday with Jeff has been - to coin a phrase - unbelievable. I've had the time of my life, and look forward to tuning in every Saturday as a fan"

Just one year later, co-host and close friend Jeff Stelling confirmed that he would also be leaving Soccer Saturday, marking the end of a legendary era of football coverage.
Some of the cast and crew of the series have clearly remained close to each other as they've gone on to work elsewhere, but fans were shocked to see just how few of them showed up for a special reunion dinner.

Posting on social media, Kammy shared a photo of him out for a meal alongside former Soccer Saturday colleagues Bianca Westwood, Charlie Nicholas, producer Ian Condron and, of course, Stelling.

Captioning the photo, he wrote: "Soccer Saturday reunion dinner. Only 5 turned up, but still a fabulous night."
Although Kammy was clearly happy with the company he was with, some fans were disappointed that other members of the cast and crew didn't make the effort to attend the reunion meal.
Reacting to the post on X, one fan wrote: "Great throwback, but poor from the no shows."
While one added: "The original. And still the best."

And another claimed: "The best ones turned up... fabulous photo."
The recent reunion is the only time that previous members of the Soccer Saturday gang have met up since leaving the show, as Kammy previsouly revealed that six of them got a meal together in April last year.
As was the case this year, Kammy, Stelling and Condron were all present, with Tony Cottee, Phil Thompson and Alan McInally also attending.

However, there was one former colleague that clearly wasn't happy not to have been invited, as he took to the comments to criticise the decision to leave him out, despite the fact that Stelling previously labelled him as worst colleague he had ever worked with.
