Rodrygo has got Chelsea fans seriously excited with his latest social media post, amid links to several Premier League clubs.

After what was a disappointing Club World Cup campaign for Real Madrid star Rodrygo, several reports have claimed that he is considering leaving the Spanish side this summer.

It is believed that the Brazilian is becoming increasingly frustrated with new manager Xabi Alonso, as the Spanish boss continues to bench him for key matches.

With that in mind, Rodrygo appears to be open to a transfer, with several of the biggest clubs in the world believed to be interested, including several in the Premier League.

But after seeing his latest post on social media fans, some Chelsea fans are getting seriously excited as they think that it could only be a matter of time before we see Rodrygo in blue.

On Sunday night, Chelsea shocked the football world by producing a stunning 3-0 win over Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final.

Immediately after the match, new signing Joao Pedro, who scored the third goal of the match, took to social media to celebrate winning a trophy just 11 days after his £60million move from Brighton.

Sharing photos from the match, the striker wrote: "I AM THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!"

Although Chelsea fans were excited to see their player celebrating winning with his new club, they are perhaps more excited to see that Rodrygo took to the comments to congratulate Pedro and Chelsea on the win.

Commenting on Pedro's post, Rodrygo wrote: "Congrats J, play hard."

Of course, the comment could simply be Rodrygo sending well wishes to his Brazilian national teammate, but it hasn't stopped some Chelsea fans getting excited.

Reacting to Rodrygo's comment, one fan wrote: "Here we go soon. Joao Pedro has been a revelation on, and now potentially off the pitch."

While another added: "Join us, you won't be watching from the bench here."

And another referenced Real Madrid's 4-0 loss to PSG in the semi-finals, suggesting: "I mean if we do decide to go for him, a showing like this would make it 10x easier to convince the player. Especially after he watched his side get waxed 4-0."

However, if Rodrygo does make the decision to leave Real Madrid this summer, it won't just be Chelsea interested in him, as both Arsenal and Liverpool are also believed to be considering a move.
