Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez made a telling gesture towards a section of Paris Saint-Germain fans after scoring in the Champions League round of 16 first leg.
On the eve of Wednesday's match at the Parc des Princes, Fernandez was being strongly linked with a move to PSG.
A report from L'Equipe claimed the Ligue 1 giants are long-term admirers of the Argentine and are ‘in contact’ with both the player and his representatives about a potential deal.
As well as his ability, PSG believe Fernandez has the character to thrive in Paris.

The 25-year-old, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022 for a then-British record transfer fee of £106.8 million, was said to be unhappy with Enzo Maresca's departure in January.

Amid speculation around his future, Fernandez delivered an admirable display for Chelsea in their Champions League round of 16 against PSG, setting up Malo Gusto's equaliser before scoring to make it 2-2.
After finding the back of the net, he ran over to the home crowd before pointing at the Club World Cup badge on his shirt.
Chelsea were crowned world champions in June following a 3-0 win over PSG.
Unfortunately for Fernandez and his teammates, Luis Enrique's side would storm to victory on Wednesday night as goals from Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sealed a 5-2 win.

Enzo Fernandez hits out at teammate Filip Jorgensen after costly error
With 74 minutes played, Chelsea were still in the game at 2-2, but three late goals sealed their fate.
Filip Jorgensen, who was handed only his ninth start of the season by Liam Rosenior, was partly to blame for two of the three goals, but it was his first error that enraged Enzo Fernandez.
Instead of going with options to his left and right, Jorgensen decided to play a risky pass through the middle. Moments later, Bradley Barcola intercepted before Vitinha made it 3-2 to the home side.
Fernandez, furious at the unfolding events, proceeded to throw the ball at Jorgensen.
Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior refused to blame Jorgensen.
"Players make mistakes,” he said. "Filip’s not the first one and that’s part of football. Credit to him, he held his hands up in the dressing room. I make mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes."
"Sometimes they’re more costly.," added Rosenior. "This is one of those moments. What we have to do for Rob and for Filip and for all of the players is look after each other. This is a big test of our character."
