Manchester City fans have spoken out after Enzo Fernandez was handed his club debut in the 1-0 win over Coventry City.
Following one of the most dramatic transfer sagas of the summer, Fernandez arrived at Man City from Chelsea in the final hours of Deadline Day for a record-matching fee of £125million.
Man City fans were therefore excited to see the former Chelsea man in action when he was forced to step in as a last-minute replacement for Nico O'Reilly, who got injured during the warm-up, and it's safe to say they're impressed.

The Argentina international played a key role in setting up Erling Haaland's winning goal, with a tidy pass finding Antoine Semenyo who crossed the ball in for Haaland to head into the net.
Later in the match, it appeared that the midfielder had set up the City striker for a second with a skilful, no-look pass, but it was later disallowed for an offside.
In total, he played 76th minutes for City on his debut, before fellow debutant Ayyoub Bouaddi came on to replace him.
Reacting to his performance, Man City journalist Sam Lee wrote on X: "Bouaddi comes on for Fernandez, who had a solid debut imo. More of a tidy display than the fiery, attention-grabbing contributions we maybe expected."
Another City fan wrote: "A very solid debut for Enzo Fernandez for City. Improvised and newly arrived, but it seems like he did the entire preseason with this squad. Key in Haaland's goal."
While a seemingly jealous Real Madrid fan, added: "What the hell was that assist from Enzo Fernández, Florentino Pérez, I refuse to accept that you didn't sign this madman."
Across his debut, Fernandez had two shots on goal, two clearances and managed 70 passes with an accuracy of 92.9%.

Man City fans react to Iliman Ndiaye's performance vs Coventry City
Fernandez wasn't the only Premier League star to make his debut for new-club City during the win over Coventry, as former Everton player Iliman Ndiaye also put in his first performance with City on Saturday afternoon.
The Senegal winger, 26, joined following a deal worth £60m plus a further £5m in add-ons and, like Fernandez, he impressed on his debut.
Reacting to Ndiaye's performance, one City fan wrote on X: "Iliman Ndiaye's game intelligence can only be truly understood by fellow footballers."
But, one pointed out the an issue in the winger's game, adding: "Ndiaye has skinned his man a couple times, work rate is top but his final ball isn't there yet."
And another admitted to being disappointed in Ndiaye's first game, writing: "Iliman Ndiaye has been a little underwhelming. Needs to work on his physicality."
