Inter Milan star Marcus Thuram brutally mocked Lamine Yamal with a now-deleted social media post shortly after knocking Barcelona out of the Champions League.
A thrilling Champions League semi-final tie between Inter Milan and Barcelona saw the Italian side progress with a scoreline of 7-6 across the two legs.
Several players from both sides displayed their talent throughout the two matches, including Barcelona wonderkid Yamal who scored in the first leg of the tie but failed to find the back of the net on Tuesday night.

But, despite his efforts across the tie, Yamal couldn't prevent his side from being knocked out of the Champions League, and things only got worse for him as he was brutally mocked online by Inter striker Thuram.
Immediately after the match, Thuram received praise from fans for approaching Yamal and comforting him over what would have been a tough loss to accept after Barcelona's spectacular comeback in the second half of Tuesday's match.
However, once they got off the pitch the Frenchman clearly had other ideas, as he took to his Instagram story to post an image of him comforting Yamal with a brutal caption.

Teasing the Barcelona star for comments he made before the game, Thuram wrote: "On a mission ehh!!"
The striker accompanied the comment with two faces crying with laughter, but was immediately met with huge backlash from fans, leading to him deciding to delete the image.
Thuram's caption was referencing a post on Yamal's Instagram story that simply stated: "On a mission."

Had Barcelona reached the Champions League final, Yamal would have become the youngest player ever to reach that stage of the competition and he would have had the chance to become the youngest-ever Champions League winner.
Instead, Inter Milan will have the chance to claim their fourth Champions League title and make up for their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in the 2022-2023 final.
The Italian side will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal, who will settle their tie at the Parc des Princes tonight, in the final at the Allianz Arena on May 31.
