Liverpool supporters have made up their minds on Alexander Isak following the Reds’ 1-0 win against Inter in the Champions League.
A Mohamed Salah-less Liverpool side faced the Italian giants at the San Siro in what proved to be a dull affair in Milan.
In line with much of the season, Arne Slot’s side struggled to make their chances count.
Centre-back Ibrahima Konate thought he had put the away side ahead during the first half, only for the strike to be ruled out as Virgil van Dijk headed the ball onto the arm of Hugo Ekitike in the build-up.

And despite Isak and Ekitike starting up front, neither made a positive impact on proceedings, with the Swede catching the brunt of criticism from supporters on social media.
Isak’s British record £125 million plus add-ons move from Newcastle United was met with huge excitement from Liverpool supporters, but the striker has failed to live up to expectations so far.
In his 14 appearances for the club, he has registered just two goals and one assist, and last scored in the 2-0 away win against West Ham on November 30.

The Sweden international put in another lacklustre performance on Tuesday evening, but luckily for Liverpool, they were awarded a dubious late penalty after Felix Zwayer adjudged Alessandro Bastoni to have fouled Florian Wirtz, who replaced Isak on 68 minutes, in the box before Dominik Szoboszlai made no mistake from 12 yards. The win means Liverpool are now eighth in the 36-team league phase after six matches.
Nonetheless, Liverpool fans did not let Isak off the hook, with several not holding back following the match.
One said: “Really hope Isak comes good, but you can’t help but think he’s an expensive mistake!
“We clearly needed a right winger, not a No. 9, and we still do!
“CB, CM, RW are all more important than another striker was!”
Another added: “Think it’s long enough now to say Isak is awful, genuinely the worst striker I’ve seen at the club.”
A third claimed: “Can anyone from our club explain why we spent so much money on Isak.... the guy is a flop.”
While a fourth commented: “It's not even close. Isak is worth 40m at best. You'll soon realise this isn't temporary. Any £40-60m striker in Newcastle’s system will look like a 120m player.”
A fifth explained: “Alexander Isak has been the worst star-striker signing I have ever seen, and that's not the worst part. The worst part is how heavily he has been overshadowed by Hugo Ekitike, who has been immense.”
