CBS Sports recorded Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry and Micah Richards' reactions to Inter Milan vs Barcelona and it's pure chaos

The popular trio were part of CBS Sports' Champions League coverage on Tuesday evening.

The CBS Sports panel gave a hilarious reaction to Inter Milan’s last-gasp equaliser against Barcelona, which sent the Champions League semi-final second leg to extra time on Tuesday evening.

The sides came into the second leg tied at 3-3 on aggregate after last week’s thriller in Barcelona.

On Tuesday night, it was Inter who took the lead through Lautaro Martínez on 21 minutes before Hakan Calhanoglu’s penalty doubled the Serie A side’s advantage on the stroke of half time.

But Barca fought back and were level by the hour mark thanks to goals from Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo.

And the La Liga side thought they had won the tie when Raphinha smashed past an otherwise excellent Yann Sommer to hand Barca the advantage on 87 minutes.

But Inter’s 94th-minute equaliser, which sent the tie to extra time, came from an unlikely source when 37-year-old defender Francesco Acerbi slotted past Barca’s keeper Wojciech Szczęsny.

And it was Acerbi’s strike that provoked a hilarious reaction from CBS pundits Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry and Micah Richards.

The former Premier League footballers were in disbelief as Henry and Richards put their hands to their heads before the former Arsenal forward asked, “What is Acerbi doing there?”

Reacting to Lamine Yamal’s late chance, Henry quipped: “I’m tired,” while Richards could seemingly not believe what was happening.

Then, the home side took a 4-3 lead (7-6 on aggregate) in extra time through Davide Frattesi, which proved to be the winner, and will play either Arsenal or PSG in Munich's final.

Speaking about Acerbi's goal after full time, right-back Matteo Darmian told Prime: "I don't know why he was there, but he was in the right position in the perfect moment."

Inter captain Martinez explained: "I am so happy.

"I am so proud of Inter Milan, I am so grateful to the fans and to my family who are here today.

"I wasn't in a great place and I wasn't 100% today, but the medical staff worked so hard to get me match fit.

"We will do what we can - we just have one more step to go. We want to go there and win it. We will do all we can to ensure that we get Inter Milan to the high summit of European football."

Meanwhile, Barca head coach Hansi Flick said: "I'm very disappointed that we're out - but I'm not disappointed about the performance of my team. They tried everything.

"We're out, but next year we'll start again and we'll make our fans, the club and everyone around us happy.

"They [Inter] are a really good team, a strong team who defend well but also they have a really good striker.

"In the second half we were really good. I don't want to speak about the referee but every 50/50 decision was for them. We gave everything but in the end it was like that and that's what made me a bit sad."
