Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has left fans in stitches after posting bizarre video following Arsenal's Champions League exit.

On Wednesday night, Arsenal's hopes of winning their first-ever Champions League this season came to an end as they lost 3-1 to Paris Saint-Germain across two legs in a semi-final clash.

The loss means that the Gunners have now gone five years without a trophy under manager Mikel Arteta, who controversially said post-match that he believed claimed that his side were the better team over the two legs.

But perhaps the most bizarre reaction to Arsenal's loss, came from Evra, who took to social media immediately after the match to comfort Arsenal fans and offer a bizarre analogy about their club's recent history.

Having won five Premier League titles and the Champions League, Evra knows exactly what it feels like to win the biggest trophies in football.

But, as he prepares for his upcoming MMA fight, the 43-year-old has revealed that he feels sorry for Arsenal and, despite his previous rivalry with the Gunners, he loves the club.

"I feel sorry for Arsenal, I think people are being really hard on them. I love Arteta anyways, Mikel is a good friend," Evra said in a video posted across his social media accounts.

"I think people have no problem actually with Arsenal's players, people have a problem with their fans, they believe anything. I even say I'm not sure I would do business with an Arsenal fan because they would give you a lot of promises but never actually...

"It's banter, people say I am anti-Gunners but I love Arsenal, you can't hate your babies, it's impossible."

After brutally teasing Arsenal fans about the loss, Evra decided to dig even further by making a bizarre x-rated example of what it must feel like to support the Gunners in recent seasons.

He added: "An example is like, imagine you have a good time with your wife, your girlfriend, you fiancee or whatever and you enjoy it, oh la la, and the moment you are about to put some seed, someone grabs your ju ju.

"It's really painful, and you get really frustrated, because you want to put the seed to have a Premier League or Champions League baby, but it's always the same story.

"So I hope for you that United, Tottenham or Chelsea don't win a trophy because it's going to be terrible."

Reacting to the post, one rival fan wrote: "If you’re an Arsenal fan and the algorithm brings you to this video, I feel bad for you."

Another added: "Every time I see a video of Patrice, I’m already laughing before man even opens his mouth."

While former teammate Rio Ferdinand simply commented a series of laughing emojis, writing: "Brooooooo"
