
The draw for the Carabao Cup semi-final has been made, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle discovering their fate alongside Arsenal or Crystal Palace, who are yet to play each other.
Chelsea became the first team to secure their place in the final four on Tuesday night, as goals from Alejandro Garnacho (2) and Pedro Neto sealed a 3-1 win over League One side Cardiff City.
Enzo Maresca's side will be without midfielder Moises Caicedo for the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final after he picked up a booking against Cardiff.
Reigning champions Newcastle are also through to the semi-final stage after a last-gasp 2-1 win over Fulham on Wednesday, while in-form Manchester City breezed past Brentford with a 2-0 victory at the Etihad.

Finally, Arsenal and Crystal Palace were forced to share a ball during Wednesday night's draw as their quarter-final game was pushed back to December 23 to ease concerns over fixture congestion.

Palace's fixture schedule has been a busy one of late. They will take on Finnish side KuPS in the Conference League league phase on December 18, just four days after their defeat to Manchester City in the league.

On Wednesday night, the draw took place on Sky Sports following the conclusion of Newcastle's win over Fulham, and it delivered some tasty fixtures.
Enzo Maresca's Chelsea will take on Arsenal or Crystal Palace, with the first leg being played at Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle, meanwhile, will face Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, with the first leg being played at St James' Park.
The semi-finals are a two-legged affair, with the first leg pencilled in for the week commencing January 12, and the second leg the week beginning February 2.
The final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 22, with the winner taking home £100,000 in prize money, on top of fees given for wins in previous rounds.
