Carabao Cup Quarter-Final Draw Simulator as Liverpool and Arsenal Learn Fate

Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are among the Premier League teams in the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw.

The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw takes place on Wednesday evening - and our simulation has created some exciting Premier League clashes.

After the opening matches of the Carabao Cup fourth round took place on Tuesday night, several clubs are eagerly waiting to find out who they will play in the quarter-finals in December.

So far, Brentford, Cardiff City and Fulham, who only narrowly progressed after beating struggling League One side Wycombe Wanders on penalties, have booked their places in the next round.

On Wednesday night, the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all in action as they look to secure a spot in the quarter-finals, with the draw set to take place immediately after the final whistle.

Ahead of the official draw, we did on our simulation and it produced some interesting results, particularly for both Liverpool and Chelsea.

The draw for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals will take place shortly after the fourth-round tie between Newcastle United and Spurs, with it expected to get underway at around 10.30pm GMT, should the match end after 90 minutes rather than go to penalties.

According to our simulator, Liverpool will face a tough away trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, should both sides progress through their fourth round ties on Wednesday night.

Although it's far from certain that the two Premier League winners will win their matches, particularly given Liverpool boss Arne Slot's recent record against fourth-round opponents Crystal Palace, current odds mean that a rematch between the 2024 and 2022 finalists could be on the cards.

Meanwhile, Cardiff City will be rewarded for their shock away win over Welsh rivals Wrexham as they've been given a home tie with a Premier League side as they will face either Newcastle United or Tottenham Hotspur in the next round.

Manchester City will welcome Brentford to the Etihad Stadium for the first time this season if they are able to beat Swansea City away in their fourth round clash.

Finally, Arsenal will have a London derby with Fulham, should they progress after they welcome Brighton to the Emirates on Wednesday evening.

The Carabao Cup quarter-final fixtures are set to take place during the week commencing Monday 15 December with matches expected to kick off on either Tuesday 16 December or Wednesday 17 December.
