Liverpool are reportedly pursuing a move for a £130 million-rated Premier League winger as well as the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola.
Andoni Iraola is looking to put his stamp on Liverpool ahead of his first campaign in charge of the Reds and has already welcomed Jeremy Jacquet and Víctor Muñoz to the Merseyside club during the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, the departures of Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konaté and Andrew Robertson have left a huge void in Liverpool’s squad.
And it appears that a deal to bring France international Barcola to the club is progressing, with it widely reported that the player has reached a verbal agreement with Liverpool, although the clubs are still apart on the fee.

The French champions reportedly want around £146 million, which would smash Liverpool’s previous transfer record of £125 million spent on Alexander Isak in 2025.
Speaking on his YouTube channel on Tuesday (July 28), journalist Fabrizio Romano issued an update on the ongoing transfer saga.
“Basically, the situation is that Liverpool want Barcola,” the Italian said.
“Liverpool have Barcola as a top priority.
“Barcola wants to go to Liverpool.
“Barcola loves Liverpool’s project and is very tempted by the opportunity to play for Liverpool.
“So, there is no doubt that personal terms can be agreed.
“There will be no problem, no issue, but, as of today, they have yet to reach an agreement on the numbers.
“They will start soon.
“I don’t see any issue, I don’t see any problems.
“Again, Barcola is tempted by Liverpool, and because this story has been reported here several times, Liverpool want the player.”

He added: “PSG will not make things easy in terms of money.
“Obviously, they consider Barcola a fantastic player.
“Basically, all the top European clubs are looking for wingers.
“Barcola is young, is a serial winner, is a top talent, is a top player, so PSG will ask for a lot of money.
“So, it’s going to be up to Liverpool to decide how much they can invest and whether they can match PSG’s valuation.
“On personal terms, don’t expect any problems, but for sure, Liverpool are going to work hard over the next few days and the next few weeks to understand what can happen there.”
Liverpool target ‘dream’ Premier League winger
But it may not just be Barcola arriving at Anfield this summer, as Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Brazil and Bournemouth winger Rayan, with the teenager considered a ‘dream’ target, according to talkSPORT.
The Cherries star, who arrived at the south coast club from Vasco da Gama in January, has a release clause of nearly £85 million in his current contract, although the clause is not active until 2027, meaning Liverpool may be able to sign Rayan for a lower fee. However, Bournemouth would be unlikely to sanction a sale at this time.
As per TEAMtalk, Liverpool have reportedly made contact over a move for the 19-year-old, with Iraola keen to reunite with the youngster, who is also highly thought of by Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
The outlet also reports that Rayan’s release clause is closer to the £130 million mark.
Alternative targets include Köln’s Said El Mala and Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo. The transfer window shuts on September 1.
