A leaked image of the alleged 2025 Ballon d'Or results has emerged online, but fans have spotted some glaring errors with the so-called final standings.
The winner of the 2025 Ballon d'Or will officially be announced in Paris on Monday night, with Ousmane Dembele and Lamine Yamal being the front-runners to claim football's most prestigious individual prize.
Dembele has been tipped by many to come out on top after notching 35 goals and 16 assists in all competitions last season, not to mention several individual awards, including the Champions League's Player of the Season.
Yamal, meanwhile, picked up 21 goals and 26 assists in all competitions across 2024-25, winning La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana with treble-winners Barcelona.

As we reported yesterday, only France Football's editor-in-chief, Vincent Garcia, knows the name of the winner, and according to the man himself, he doesn't even share it with the management of L'Equipe, the magazine's owner.

"The Ballon d'Or winner? I will keep the secret even if it means falling out with some people," said Garcia ahead of Monday's ceremony. "I will keep the secret until the very end."
As per Le Parisien, everyone will find out the results live, including former Barcelona and AC Milan forward Ronaldinho, who will present the trophy at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.

But that hasn't stopped a leak emerging on social media, with Argentine journalist Pablo Giralt posting a picture of the so-called final results alongside the caption: "The alleged 2025 Ballon d'Or list has been leaked. Lamine Yamal would be the winner, Dembelé second, and Vitinha third. Opinions?"
Giralt, who has over 1 million followers on X, sparked plenty of debate with the post, but fans spotted two glaringly obvious spelling mistakes in the copy. Kylian Mbappe's name is spelt wrong, and so is Inter Milan's full registered title, Internazionale.
Some PSG players will not attend Ballon d'Or ceremony after late announcement
A total of nine PSG players from last season's treble-winning team have been nominated for the men's Ballon d'Or this year.

Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue, Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes, Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha have all been put forward for the award alongside now-Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
But it appears most of them will be unable to attend the event as the ceremony is scheduled to take place at the same time as Le Classique.
That's right. PSG have been forced to reschedule their Ligue 1 clash against Marseille from Sunday to Monday evening, meaning the game will clash directly with the Ballon d'Or ceremony.
Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue and Joao Neves, who are all injured, are expected to attend the gala, but the other squad members will likely miss out.

Marseille released a statement on Sunday to confirm that their fixture against PSG has been postponed to Monday with storms expected in the region.
"Olympique de Marseille acknowledges the decision of the Bouches-du-Rhône Prefecture to postpone the OM – PSG match, initially scheduled for this evening, for security reasons linked to the weather conditions in the region.
"As communicated by the Professional Football League, and in accordance with its regulations, the match is rescheduled for this Monday, September 22 at 8 p.m., at the Orange Vélodrome.
