Arsenal fans are convinced the club has dropped a positive injury update in their latest training video ahead of their clash with Leicester City on Saturday.

The Gunners continued their strong start to the season mid-week, with a comprehensive 5-1 home victory against Bolton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Mikel Arteta's side cruised to victory with goals from Kai Havertz, Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice, and a brace from 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri blowing away the League One side.

After five games in the Premier League, Arsenal sit in fourth after remaining unbeaten. However, Arteta has already come up against Tottenham and City away from home making the two-point gap to City at the top look very positive.

Despite such a positive start on paper, injuries and absences have plagued the early stages of Arsenal's season, with the likes of Martin Odegaard and David Raya being sidelined with injury.

One man who is yet to play a single minute of the season for Arteta is Takehiro Tomiyasu who picked up an injury while on a pre-season tour.

Speaking at the time, Arteta said: “I think it will take weeks on that one, unfortunately, and poor Tomi because of everything that he does.

“But he’s going to have to be patient and work through it because I think it’s going to take a few weeks," He added.

However, after over a month on the physio table, the Japanese international could finally fit, or at least that's what Arsenal fans think.

Ahead of the weekend's game with Leicester Arsenal posted an arrivals video of their stars turning up for training, which for the first time this season featured Tomiyasu.

While there is no official confirmation the defender is back and available, fans on social media are convinced Tomiyasu's inclusion can only mean one thing.

One fan commented: "Glad to see Tomiyasu is alive and well."

Another added: "Is that Tomiyasu reporting to training?"

A third replied: "Haha no way, I forgot Tomiyasu is still an Arsenal player, to be honest."

A fourth commented: "Tomiyasu finally back? Need our squad as strong as possible."
