Arsenal fans are very excited about the signing of Declan Rice but they also think the England international is playing the role of 'Agent" and trying to recruit another star.

Rice is on the verge of signing for the Gunners in a club-record £105 million switch after reportedly undergoing his medical on Friday.

All that is waiting now is an official announcement to confirm the West Ham skipper as Arsenal's second signing of the summer after the £65 million arrival of Kai Havertz from Chelsea.

But it appears as though Rice isn't even in London at the moment, with images surfacing of him on holiday in Portugal linking up with AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.

The two have been training at 'The Campus', a luxury sports complex in the Algarve, along with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Joao Cancelo.

And Arsenal supporters are convinced Rice is trying to recruit the former Lille man, who has been linked with a Premier League move in recent times.

One fan wrote: "Declan recruiting already."

A second said: "Agent Dec already."

Another commented: "Doing agent work already. Declan is an Arsenal legend before he steps foot through the door."

A fourth added: "Declan line that up big man."

A fifth user weighed in: "Agent Rice already doing the lord’s work without being announced by Arsenal but convincing Leao to join. Proud of you Declan."

A final fan buzzed: "Already working for the club my guy."

In the past Leao had admitted to "liking" Arsenal but a deal this summer might just be a little too difficult to do after the 24-year-old penned a new long-term contract with Milan.

Negotiations between the Rossoneri and Leao dragged on but he eventually extended his stay with the club until 2028, as confirmed on 2 June.

Arsenal's squad are currently in Germany ahead of a pre-season friendly against Nurnberg on Thursday evening.
