Arsenal have 'reached a total agreement' with West Ham United to sign Declan Rice, who will undergo a medical ahead of completing his big-money transfer.

West Ham have finally accepted Arsenal's payment structure of £100 million plus an additional £5 million in add-ons.

An agreement has been reached, which will see three installments paid over 24 months, according to The Athletic.

The 24-year-old has been given permission to undergo a medical at Arsenal and finalise personal terms ahead of completing what would be a Premier League record for a British player.

Rice, meanwhile, has already agreed personal terms of a minimum of £250,000-per-week.

Once his medical is complete, the England international will be officially unveiled as an Arsenal player.

It's a huge coup for the Gunners as they fended off interest from Premier League champions Man City, who made a play to sign him.

Though their bid worth up to £90 million was rejected by West Ham.

Mikel Arteta appears set to land his man, having already snapped up Kai Havertz from Chelsea for £65 million.

Rice, who graduated from West Ham's youth academy, has been at the club for his whole professional career.

He made his debut in the 2016/17 season and went onto make 245 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals.

The star midfielder is also an England regular, having won 43 caps since his making his international bow in 2019.
