Arsenal have quietly announced their first move of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are on the cusp of a first Premier League title since 2004 after Mikel Arteta's team beat West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Manchester City are five points behind Arsenal with a game in hand, which will be played against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
Arteta is targeting what would be a famous double, with Arsenal closing in on the league title and preparing to take on European champions Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the end of the month.

Football never stands still and Arsenal will be looking to strengthen in the transfer window regardless of what happens in the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
But their first piece of business of the summer is already done and it's a sale that could free up a slice of defensive spending as Arteta begins working towards at least one title defence.
Last week, Porto announced that they had exercised their option to turn their loan of Polish defender Jakub Kiwior into a permanent signing.
26-year-old Kiwior has agreed a contract that runs until the summer of 2030.
"FC Porto has exercised the purchase option stipulated in the loan agreement with Arsenal FC and will now permanently own the sporting registration rights and 100% of the economic rights of Jakub Kiwior for a fixed fee of €17 million, plus a maximum variable remuneration of €5 million depending on the achievement of certain objectives," announced the Portuguese champions. It was also indicated that the Gunners have agreed a small, fixed-amount sell-on clause.
Kiwior completes transfer from Arsenal to Porto
Arsenal have now confirmed that the switch has been completed, with news of Kiwior's departure buried in the regular 'loan watch' feature on Arsenal.com this week.
The Polish international signed for Arsenal from Italian side Spezia three years ago after emerging as a highly-rated defender at Zilina in Slovakia's top flight.
Kiwior joined Porto on loan last summer and has been a regular starter under head coach Francesco Farioli, making 25 league appearances in total as the Dragons secured their first Primeira Liga title since 2021-22.
"Everyone at Arsenal wishes Jakub success for the season ahead at Porto," said Arsenal.com in September. The North London club also congratulated the defender when Porto confirmed their title win.
He leaves Arsenal with 44 Premier League appearances to his name.
