Ange Postecoglou's job at Nottingham Forest is already under threat going into the game against Newcastle this weekend, it has been claimed.
Having been dismissed as Spurs boss despite winning a first trophy in 17 years, Postecoglou was appointed as the new Forest manager 24 days ago following the controversial sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo.
However, the Australian has endured a miserable start to life at City Ground - failing to taste victory in his opening six games with two draws and four losses.
The latest came in the Europa League on Thursday night, where Forest were beaten 3-2 by Danish side FC Midtjylland.

Postecoglou was subjected to chants of 'You're getting sacked in the morning' by his own supporters, with pressure already piling on the 60-year-old.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has sacked a manager in a shorter space of time and according to The Times, the upcoming clash with Newcastle clash is crucial for Postecoglou's future.

The report states that while he will be in charge for the trip to St James' Park, "a negative performance and result could mean the club’s hierarchy reviews his position during the international break".

Forest now find themselves 17th in the Premier League and suffered Carabao Cup elimination at the hands of Championship side Swansea City.
Postecoglou addressed the chants from his supporters in a post-match interview with TNT Sports on Thursday, stating that fans are "entitled to their opinion".
But despite the wretched run, where Forest have conceded 13 goals, the former Celtic boss is still adamant that the team are making progress and soon the atmosphere will change for the better.
There is an appreciation that shifting the approach to a more attacking style of play from what Forest adopted under Espirito Santo will take place but results need to come imminently.

"I get the mood around the place isn't going to be great, I understand people's kind of attitude at the moment, particularly towards me, but I never worry about that," he stated in a press conference.
"It's not unfamiliar territory for me. I really believe that we're on the right track and when we get through this period of uncertainty we'll be on a good path.
"I still think apart from their attitude towards me that they were behind the team and I think that's the important thing. Of course, I would prefer people are optimistic.

"If we start winning games of football, the atmosphere will change."
After the trip to Newcastle, Forest return from the international break with a visit of Chelsea, before a Europa League clash with Porto and a trip to high-flying Bournemouth.
