Fans in hysterics at hidden Everton detail on Roberto Firmino's new mural at Anfield

Roberto Firmino must have spotted the detail when he visited his new mural on Sunday...

It appears a mural dedicated to Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has been printed on a house belonging to an Everton supporter.

The Brazilian forward, who has made over 350 appearances for the Reds since his £29 million move from Hoffenheim in 2015,

scored a late equaliser for the Reds in their Premier League clash against Aston Villa.

Although Jurgen Klopp's side failed to pick up all three points on Saturday, it was an 'almost' perfect way to mark Firmino's final appearance at Anfield as a Liverpool player – a goal in front of The Kop End.

The 31-year-old was reduced to tears at full-time, when thousands of fans serenaded him with his famous 'Si Senor' chant.

The morning after his last game at Anfield and the Brazilian visited the intersection of Rockfield Road and Anfield Road – a two-minute walk from the stadium – to see his impressive mural.

On his special visit, Firmino was once again serenaded by his 'Si Senor' chant, which also features on the artwork created by local artists MurWalls.

He also penned his signature on the house but as videos and pictures were being shared of the moment on social media, one eagle-eyed fan spotted an Everton sticker on a window.

Liverpool fan Karen posted the image alongside the caption: "This is killing me," before adding: "They must be livid that’s on the wall."

The sticker features Everton's motto 'Nil Satis Nisi Optimum', which means "nothing but the best is good enough", as well as the Everton badge.

Here's how social media reacted to the detail.

One said: "Probably the first reference to Everton on the Champions League account in ages," while another wrote: "If I was him, I’d wash it off."

A third commented: "Naaaaah this is mad."

A fourth added: "Evertonians can't catch a break even in their own house."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spotted the mural for Firmino ahead of Saturday's game against Aston Villa.

Speaking at his press conference, the German said: "What the people did anyway, like the mural for Bobby Firmino.

"Yesterday we drove to the stadium because we leave our cars here and then you pass that and it’s not finished yet, it was in the middle of something, and you think, ā€˜Wow’.

ā€œHow often these people do the right things in the right moment is absolutely insane. It was a big, big gesture and Bobby was really [touched]. It’s a big gesture, I have to say, really big.ā€
