Manchester United have reportedly urged Erik ten Hag to find a role for Anthony Martial in a bid to save money in the transfer window.
The Red Devils continue to be linked with new talent following the acquisition of Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.
Lisandro Martinez, who's close to joining the club after ruthlessly snubbing Arsenal, and Frenkie de Jong remain linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer.

Man United are also looking at attacking options, but the board are urging Ten Hag to find a way to use Martial ahead of the new season.
TalkSPORT claim the board wants the Dutchman to work with the out-of-favour Frenchman as they feel he could save the club millions.
The Man United hierarchy hope to strengthen in other areas of the squad, with club chief John Murtough telling Ten Hag to get the best out of Martial instead of signing a new forward.

Martial, 26, spent the second half of last season on loan at Sevilla, but failed to make a real impression - scoring just one goal.
But he started and scored in his side's 4-0 win over Liverpool on Wednesday.
Speaking after his team's emphatic victory, Ten Hag made no mistake about the hard work that needs to be put in to achieve his style.

"Of course, we are satisfied today because I think that was a team with a great spirit and we know we are just starting and things went wrong, clearly," he said.
"We did the press, we made some mistakes in pressing, we conceded some chances, but also we created a lot.
"I think our team played brave, played proactive. We have to work really hard to cut out the mistakes, but of course we are happy with the first game."
The 52-year-old said he was relatively happy with the performance of his players, but admitted it will take 'a lot of time' to get his principles across.

"I have seen a lot of mistakes," he added. "You would not say [when you look] at the result but, lets be honest, Liverpool plays in three teams. They were not at their strongest so we have to not overestimate this result.
"We have to [be careful] but still, I have seen some great things. We have potential."
Man United resume their pre-season against Melbourne Victory.
