Manchester United fans are loving Eric Cantona's social media post on the day of King Charles' Coronation.

The Coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

But, according to the former Man United superstar forward who forged a legendary career at Old Trafford, there's only one king in town.

Cantona shared a photo-shopped image of himself on a King's body, with a crown by his side - accompanied with the caption: "There is only one king."

His social media post went down well among Man United fans online as they hailed their former player.

One Twitter user wrote: "And it has always been that way."

A second tweeted: "Hail King Cantona."

A third added: "I see no lies."

A fourth said: "God Save the King."

Another commented: "The only King."

The Frenchman had a stellar five-season spell at Man United, winning an impressive four Premier League titles not to mention two FA Cups.

He scored 82 goals during his time with the Red Devils, including some absolute worldies; from his cheeky chip against Sunderland to his stunning FA Cup final-winning volley in 1996. He also had a few infamous moments, including his kung-fu kick at Selhurst Park.

The 56-year-old is still revered by Man United fans, years on from his iconic stint at the club.

Man United legend Sir Alex Ferguson once described Cantona as a 'messiah' in glowing praise.

"When Eric Cantona came - he was a messiah," he said. "He transformed us. The confidence factor. There's no question about that."
