Roy Keane has urged Harry Kane to focus on what he does best if England are to win the World Cup.
The Three Lions kicked off their World Cup preparations in North America with a drab 1-0 win against New Zealand with Kane scoring the only goal of the game.
Kane enters the tournament on the back of a stellar club campaign with Bayern Munich, netting 61 goals in all competitions, 36 of those coming in the Bundesliga.
Many believe Englandâs hopes rest firmly on his shoulders and Keane is no different, but believes the ex-Tottenham man needs to adapt his game due to the conditions that are expected in this summerâs tournament.

Games are expected to be played in intense heat and Keane believes that Kaneâs tendency to drop into the hole and link up play could be costly given the extra demands the conditions will create.
The former Manchester United skipper urged Kane to focus on being a last-line defender and leaving the playmaking to his teammates after the New Zealand win.
âHe has to have that experience now, and maybe he's learnt a lot more playing for Bayern in those big Champions League games,â he told ITV.
âBe smart enough with your position. Even for the goal, New Zealand have lots of players back, but he's just wandered in there. Just that experience, but its amazing they gave him so much space.
"But with that experience, he's got to be sensible, we're talking about the conditions.
âHe doesn't need to be coming back beyond the halfway line trying to spray balls, there's enough players who can do that and enough quality, you get yourself in there, you're the best in the world at this moment in time.
âIf England want to win the big trophy, he's going to be your main man."
Experts have predicted at least a third of the games at the World Cup will be played at a temperature above 26C and the England squad are using various tactics to combat the heat, including high-tech palm cooling devices.
However, Kane doesnât believe the issue will be as bad as itâs being made out and claims the squad are already adapted to the heat.
Kane said: âThe drinks breaks help. A lot of people are talking about the heat but I don't think it's going to be as big a factor as what some people say.
"Me personally and a few of the boys who have been training for a while in it felt fine today. We're all athletes, we're all professionals and have played in warm weather conditions before."
England kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia on June 17.
