Harry Kane broke the goalscoring record for England against Italy with a penalty, scoring his 54th goal for his nation.

But do you know who he overtook to become England's top scorer ever? and do you know who that player overtook before him?

England have a storied history, winning a World Cup and in more recent times getting to the final of Euro 2020, with an agonising penalty shootout defeat to Italy at Wembley Stadium the only thing standing between them and glory on home turf.

England look as though they have a bright future with a number of young stars including Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham.
