Premier League reporter Olivia Buzaglo has revealed what Nottingham Forest global head of football Edu did in the immediate aftermath of the side's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
The result at the City Ground resulted in the sacking of manager Ange Postecoglou after just 39 days in charge.
The Australian is now the shortest-serving permanent manager since the formation of the Premier League in 1992, having failed to win any of his eight matches in charge.
While it was widely expected that a defeat would signal the end of Postecoglou's reign at the City Ground, the eventual manner of his departure took everyone by surprise.

Just 19 minutes after the full-time whistle blew on Saturday afternoon, Forest confirmed that the former Spurs boss had been sacked 'after a series of disappointing results and performances'.

Speaking on TNT Sports, reporter Jules Breach noted that Postecoglou had entered the dressing room to speak to the players before leaving shortly after 'with a bag on his back'.
Breach also interviewed Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White, adding: "Gibbs-White's opinion was that he still had full faith, and the team had full faith, that Ange Postecoglou could turn things around."

Now, Sky Sports presenter and reporter Buzaglo, who also works for Premier League Productions and DAZN, has revealed what Edu did in the minutes that followed full-time at the City Ground.
The Athletic reported in August that the Brazilian's appointment by Evangelos Marinakis played a significant role in previous manager Nuno Espirito Santo's unhappiness at the club prior to his departure a month later.
Buzaglo noted that there were plans for Edu to conduct a tunnel interview with the media post-match - in what would have been a rare public appearance by the former Arsenal midfielder.
She explained: "As you can imagine, the tunnel was wild. It was so busy.

"We were thinking, 'Are we going to get a Forest player?' Obviously we want reaction to it.
"I was sat opposite Edu, and they wanted Edu to do post-match interviews, post-match media. Edu was like, 'Not happening'. So that then got scrapped.
"The players all went into a board meeting. I don't know who was there. Ryan Yates [Forest captain] came back in and he basically had to do all of the media. He was the one that was put up. He didn't even play. Obviously all of the questions were about Ange and not about the game.

"Apparently he [Postecoglou] did his post-match chat with the players in the dressing room, and then just got sacked and walked out. A wild day."
Who will be the new Nottingham Forest manager?
The Athletic's David Ornstein has reported that Forest are close to agreeing terms with Sean Dyche to be their new manager - just two days after Postecoglou's sacking.
The 54-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by Everton in January.

Dyche graduated from Forest's academy as a player though never made a first-team appearance, partially due to a severe broken leg that he suffered while playing in a youth team match aged 17.
Forest will be his third Premier League club as a manager after spells at Everton and Burnley.
