Eden Hazard was told to 'come back' to Chelsea as he made an emotional return to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Hazard returned to West London with Real Madrid for their Champions League quarter-final second-leg tie.

He was an unused substitute as the La Liga giants won the match 2-0 (4-0 on aggregate) to book their spot in the next round of the competition.

After the game, the Blues legend made his way back to the dressing room and was briefly stopped by a Chelsea worker who appeared to ask him to 'come back'.

He then headed back to the dressing room and was questioned by Guillermo Rai, who asked him: "Eden, a lot of memories?"

The 32-year-old replied: "A lot, phew! And good ones."

Hazard's comments got Chelsea fans online talking as they reminisced about his playing days at the club, with some supporters even wanting him back.

One Twitter user wrote: "He’s coming back I know it."

A second tweeted: "God bless the man who said come back at the beginning."

A third added: "Don’t think I’ll ever love a player as much as him and Drogba."

A fourth commented: "Come home my king."

A fifth said: "Tears rolling down my cheeks man."

Hazard spent seven trophy-laden seasons at Chelsea, winning two Premier League titles, two Europa League titles as well as the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

He scored 110 goals for the club before moving to Real in a transfer worth £103.5 million back in 2019.

But he's failed to make an impression, with his time in Spain blighted with a series of injuries.

He's made a total of 75 appearances and scored just seven goals during his time at the club.

Could a return to Chelsea resurrect his career? Well, it appears some fans wouldn't mind him back amid their awful campaign this season.

Chelsea won't be in the Champions League next season and have failed to win any silverware this term.

Is Hazard the answer to Chelsea's problems? Let us know what you think.
