The Germany international joined Los Blancos as a free agent in the summer after letting his Chelsea contract expire.

Rudiger is in line to make his first Real start against Barcelona in Las Vegas on Sunday. One man who felt his wrath during a regular rondo is Hazard.

Hazard has struggled with injury since swapping Chelsea for Real himself and Rudiger left a nasty one on his ankle.

The 29-year-old clearly made contact and Hazard went down with an audible scream.

Some of their Real teammates even looked shocked, putting their hands on their head. Fans have reacted to the footage and they are shocked by how aggressive Rudiger was.

One person said: "All of them were like you want to send him back to where he has belong to?"

Another put: "Bro needs to chill for real."

A third tweeted: "Ah see the tackle Rudiger made on Eden Hazard, look at the reactions from the players."

While someone commented: "Chelsea injuries are gonna reduce this season lol."

Spanish publication Marca report Hazard could now miss El Clasico, after managing to finish the rondo but not the session in its entirety.

Hazard has won two La Liga titles and the Champions League since swapping Stamford Bridge for the Santiago Bernabeu three years ago, but played a minimal role in all three triumphs.

The 31-year-old remains a popular figure among his teammates and admitted to ESPN he does not know why he has picked up so many injuries.

"It’s not that easy, especially when you don’t know why you’re injured," he explained. "I’ve been injured at my time at Chelsea, but not like those three years with Real Madrid.

"I knew that it was something wrong with my body, so that’s why I asked to do the surgery at the end of the season last year."
