Darwin Nunez's Wage At Liverpool Revealed Having Agreed Personal Terms

Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Nunez from Benfica in a transfer worth up to £85 million.

The Premier League side will stump up at least £68 million up front for the highly-rated forward.

The remaining £17 million will be paid in add-ons and performance-related bonuses.

The 22-year-old will earn a reported £5.1 million per year at Anfield - which is around £98,600-a-week, according to Portuguese football expert Pedro Sepulveda.

Sadio Mane is on a similar wage package at the club.

But the Senegalese appears set to call time on his legendary career at Liverpool, with Nunez essentially his replacement ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Mane is believed to be commanding a wage of £400,000-a-week, with Bayern Munich thought to be prepared to table a deal in the region of £325,000-a-week.

Mohamed Salah is also in the middle of a contract stand-off at Liverpool.

Salah reportedly earns £200,000-a-week, but is pushing for a more lucrative deal ahead of the expiration of his contract next summer.

He's been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with reports suggesting he could move on as a free agent once his deal is up.

Nunez, meanwhile, scored an impressive 34 goals in 41 games in all competitions this season, including two goals against Liverpool.

He scored in each leg against Jurgen Klopp's side in the Champions League.

He bagged his team's only goal in their 3-1 defeat and netted in their 3-3 draw at Anfield.
