Dani Carvajal sends message to Mohamed Salah.

Dani Carvajal has hit back at Mohamed Salah for his revenge claim ahead of the Champions League final.

The Liverpool star left the field in tears after being forced with a shoulder injury following a clash with Sergio Ramos.

Salah got his hands on the 'Ol Big Ears' trophy the following season as he scored a penalty in his side's 2-0 victory against Tottenham.

But he insists there's a score to settle when Liverpool once again go head-to-head with the Spanish giants on Saturday.

Though his comments haven't gone down well in the Real camp, with Federico Valverde accusing the Egyptian international of being 'disrespectful' to the 13-times European champions.

Carvajal has now weighed in - issuing a warning to Salah ahead of their meeting in Paris.

"I don’t know if Salah or Liverpool are out for revenge," he told ABC

"It’s true that when you lose a Champions League final, you always want to have a second chance against the same team to beat them.

"Hopefully, it won’t be a major burden for Salah to lose a second Champions League final against Real Madrid."

Salah, who has scored an impressive 31 goals in all competitions this season, recalled the 'worst moment' of his career ahead of competing in his third Champions League final.

"I remember when I left the field after 30 minutes of that game it was the worst moment of my career," he said.

"I was really down. I had a good season and then to play my first Champions League final and come off so soon was the worst thing that could happen to me.

"I found out the result while I was in the hospital. I thought we just could not lose the game in that way. I never felt that way before in football."
