Cristiano Ronaldo claims Al Nassr win was 'easy game' despite not scoring, fans don't believe him

The former Manchester United striker is clearly finding life in the Saudi Arabian Pro League quite simple

Cristiano Ronaldo came off the pitch following Al Nassr's latest victory and declared it an 'easy game' – but not all fans completely believe him.

Al Nassr needed an incredible three stoppage time goals to come from behind to beat Al Batin 3-1 on Friday night, but none of them came from Ronaldo.

Abdulrahman Ghareeb levelled after the 90-minute mark, before Mohammed Al-Fatil and Mohammed Maran scored after the 100th minute to give Al Nassr a dramatic win in Riyadh.

Ronaldo appears to have been enjoying his time with the Saudi club so far, scoring eight goals in six games – including two hat-tricks. The former Manchester United striker was presented with the award for Saudi League Player of the Month before the match on the back of his performances.

Tunnel footage showed a stern-looking Ronaldo heading for the dressing rooms while declaring, in Portuguese, "easy game, what an easy game" as he walked past some stewards.

Plenty of fans responded to the video on social media by expressing their scepticism at Ronaldo's comments.

One replied by saying: "Why couldn’t he score then?"

Another added, with some laughing emojies: "He ghosted an easy game!"

Although another explained: "For those who doesn't speak Spanish or Portuguese, they tone he used makes it clear he's speaking with sarcasm."

Maybe Ronaldo has found some games for Al Nassr easy since he joined the club after his acrimonious Man United fall-out and exit. But we're pretty sure this one wasn't easy. Either way, Al Nassr are certainly finding things easier since signing the five-time Ballon D'Or winner – they're top of the league by two clear points and have only lost once all season.
