Manchester United's players will reportedly bag close to half a million pounds each in bonuses should they complete a historic quadruple this season.

Erik ten Hag's side bagged the first piece of silverware this campaign after beating Newcastle United 2-0 last weekend to win the Carabao Cup.

First-team players such as Casemiro and Marcus Rashford, who scored at Wembley Stadium, earned around £65,000 as reward for winning the competition.

And there's more incentives up for grabs should the Red Devils add to their trophy haul this season, with the club still competing in three more competitions.

According to the Daily Mail, each player will land a further £85,000 for each of the FA Cup and Europa League.

Man United booked their spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals after coming from behind to beat West Ham United 3-1 and are in the last 16 of the Europa League following their play-off victory over Barcelona.

What's more, they could also earn a whopping £250,000 if they were to win the Premier League title.

Man United are currently 11 points behind league leaders Arsenal, but have a game in hand over their domestic rivals.

So, winning all four competitions would see each player bag a total of £485,000 in bonuses.

Ten Hag has worked wonders at Man United and has already secured his first trophy following their victory over Newcastle.

They continued their great form with a win over West Ham in the FA Cup, but the Dutch boss played down winning the quadruple.

"We are not talking about that, we are talking about the next game [vs Liverpool] and it is a big game," he said.

"It is a good game and we are really excited to play this game."

Man United return to action on Sunday when they resume their league campaign against old rivals Liverpool.
