Compilation Of Christian Eriksen's Perfect Playmaking Shows He's A Serious Coup For Manchester United

Christian Eriksen has verbally agreed a three-year contract with Manchester United, reports claim.

A compilation of Christian Eriksen being the perfect playmaker has got Manchester United fans excited ahead of his expected arrival.

The Danish midfielder has reportedly told the Red Devils he wishes to join and has verbally agreed to sign a three-year contract.

Eriksen has been a free agent since his short-term deal with Brentford expired in the summer. The Bees were desperate to extend his stay in west London but the 30-year-old has been convinced by United and is line to link up with new boss Ten Hag.

And United fans know exactly what kind of player they are getting. The former Ajax, Spurs and Inter Milan is a pure playmaker and one of the best in the world at the role.

His highlights, while in action for Denmark and Brentford, show that he still has that incredible technical quality with both feet.

His range of passing and ability to create a chance out of nothing is still at a high level and given there's no transfer fee, it feels like a no brainer for United.

Many of his best bits in the compilation actually came against United at Old Trafford. Brentford lost 3-0 on the night but Eriksen turned in a really tidy display full of invention.

He also brings in a strong delivery from set pieces, something which United definitely lacked in the dismal 2021/22 campaign.

Eriksen made a miraculous recovery to resume his football career when many felt it was done following on from his frightening cardiac arrest against Finland at Euro 2020.

Much like former teammate Daley Blind, he was fitted with a ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) but because of Serie A regulations on heart devices, Eriksen was not allowed to play in the Italian top flight.

That meant his contract with Inter was terminated by mutual consent. But after getting back on the training pitch, Eriksen was afforded the chance to come back and play again with Brentford, who he played 11 times for in a six-month stint.

The comeback came against Newcastle and Eriksen received a standing ovation by both sets of fans and players in a wholesome moment.

He is now in line to be teammates with Brandon Williams, who he had a memorable moment with last season.

On loan at Norwich, Williams was rugby-tackled by Eriksen, who stopped a counter attack.

The defender was furious and initially grabbed his opponent's shirt in anger. However when he realised who it was, he gave Eriksen a big hug.
