Compilation Of Alisson Becker Saving 1 On 1s Is Very Impressive

The Liverpool goalkeeper has a reputation for saving his team when a striker is one on one with him and this video proves exactly why.

A compilation video of Alisson Becker's one-on-one saves proves that the Liverpool goalkeeper is one of the best in the business right now.

The turn around at Liverpool since Jurgen Klopp joined, and specifically since 2018 is often put down to the amazing quality of Virgil van Dijk, transforming the defence in the team and helping them reach a Champions League final less than six months after his arrival.

However, the addition of Alisson to the team that summer is just as important to the team, especially when you consider the mistakes by Simon Mignolet against Real Madrid in that final.

The Brazilian has become one of the best keepers in the world in the past few years and the Reds have conceded just one more goal than title rivals Manchester City so far this season.

That's partially down to Alisson's brilliance when it comes to one-on-one situations, as a compilation of the former Roma keeper in those situations shows.

Alisson had a brilliant time at the weekend with the quadruple chasers playing against local rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby.

In the first half, Jordan Pickford, a player already hated by Liverpool, cheekily dived on the ball just as half time was coming up, making his time wasting very obvious, and then winking at the camera.

However it backfired in the second half, as Liverpool went on to score twice to win the game, and keep up their title chase whilst also condemning Everton to stay in the bottom three.

Alisson couldn't help but respond to Pickford's earlier antics, when he did his own over the top dive on the ball, mocking the England number one.
