Chelsea are 'in the mix' to feature in Amazon: All or Nothing documentary series

Newcastle have also been linked.

Chelsea could be the next Premier League club to feature in an Amazon: All or Nothing series after it emerged the club's American owners have expressed "an appetite" to be filmed.

It has become somewhat of a trend to be involved in a documentary-style series of late.

Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester City have all been put under the microscope in recent years, with cameras capturing behind-the-scenes footage of dressing room arguments and training ground moments.

And according to The Daily Mail, the guys over at Amazon are looking to tempt Newcastle into allowing their cameras to follow them for the 2023/24 season, although they have their work cut out.

It is believed that Newcastle have already rejected a number of offers from other production companies. PIF also have some reservations and want guarantees there will be no anti-Saudi angle.

But there are options elsewhere. According to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs, senior Amazon sources are positive that new American owner Todd Boehly would be interested in making it happen.

Under the ownership of Roman Abramovich, the club made it clear they had absolutely no interest in being featured. But it appears that stance has changed with Boehly and Eghbali as owners.

It would certainly be interesting to see how new manager Graham Potter operates after his strong start to life at Stamford Bridge.

Here's how social media reacted to the news.

One fan said: "As a neutral I don’t see an issue with this. They have cameras around them all the time anyway. Would be cool to see a club like Chelsea do it especially with a new manager that seems to have some longevity with him."

Another wrote: "Never in doubt once Boehly took over. This will be fun. Hopefully we can have a season like City’s when they did All or Nothing."

A third commented: "This’ll be cool but I don’t back the squad to not be affected by this, I don’t want it until I’m certain we have a squad who can handle extra cameras."

Arsenal's appearance in an Amazon: All or Nothing series produced some memorable moments, including the moment when manager Mikel Arteta reached boiling point after the club's shock FA Cup third round defeat to Nottingham Forest last season.

Back in January, the Gunners were dumped out of the competition after suffering a surprise 1-0 defeat to then-Championship outfit Nottingham Forest.

A late goal from substitute Lewis Grabban in the 83rd minute sealed a historic win for the recently promoted side, who went on to play Leicester City in the fourth round.

But the headlines belonged to Arsenal following a dismal performance. Mikel Arteta's side failed to record a single shot on target throughout the game.

After the full-time whistle, the Spaniard didn't hold back when he entered the dressing room.

"I accept losing guys, I accept losing. I don't accept these f****** standards, I'm telling you. I don't accept them, I don't accept them, these standards," Arteta said, wagging his finger.
