Harry Kane reportedly had an ‘inappropriate request’ rejected following Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga title win.
Kane, 31, was in the thick of Bayern’s celebrations after Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-2 draw against Freiburg, which crowned Vincent Kompany’s side as Bundesliga champions on Sunday (May 4).
The squad were gathered at a venue and sang several songs, including Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’, with Kane and fellow Englishman Eric Dier spotted puffing on chunky cigars in celebration.
The England captain took to social media in the hours that followed, he wrote: “What a night and what a celebration with the players and the staff.

“I am sure everyone is feeling it a little bit.
“It has been a long time coming after a lot of hard work and a lot of dedication, and it just feels sweet to win the title, the first one of my career.”
Kane, who has scored 24 Bundesliga goals this term, taking his overall tally at Bayern to 80 in 89 games since transferring from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, is a consummate professional, but he may be forgiven for partying long into the night on this occasion.
However, he reportedly had a post-title request denied by the Bundesliga club, according to the Mail.

The outlet claims that Kane’s original plan was to fly to the iconic party island of Ibiza, but this was deemed a ‘step too far’ by Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl, who believed this was inappropriate with Kompany’s side set to take on Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
"There are many people who, throughout my career, only talk about the fact I haven't won a title yet," Kane said recently.
"It would be nice to silence a few of them."

And he has done exactly that and will, no doubt, enjoy a well-deserved celebratory holidays come this summer, given the fact that there is no international tournament to prepare for.
Although he was likely to feature in Bayern’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign, with the Bavarians scheduled to face Auckland City, Boca Juniors and Benfica in June. The tournament is set to conclude in New Jersey on July 13.
