Bayern Munich 'transfer list shock player' for ridiculously low fee and every Premier League club should be interested

Bayern Munich have alerted Premier League clubs by reportedly placing one of their Bundesliga winning stars on the transfer list.

The Bavarian giants won the league for the 34th team after an excellent debut season from Vincent Kompany at the Allianz Arena saw them lose just two games in the league and finally give Harry Kane a trophy to lift.

But a whole host of exits are expected at Bayern, including club legend Thomas Muller - who is calling time on his stint with his only club after 25 years and more than 750 appearances.

In addition, Eric Dier is leaving for Ligue One side AS Monaco - signing a three-year contract with the Principality outfit after a spell with Bayern.

Yet it's emerged that there could be another defensive departure on the cards for Bayern.

According to Christian Falk and Tobi Altschaffl of BILD, centre-back Kim Min-jae has been told that he is free to leave Bayern in the summer window.

After an impressive season with Napoli, where he replaced Kalidou Koulibaly and was a key part of their historic Scudetto winning side in 2022/23, Kim completed a €50 million switch to Bayern and has played 79 times across two campaigns.

However, the club do not see him as indispensable and are said to be willing to sell him for anywhere between €30-35 million - a 40 per cent drop from what they paid to secure him two years back and just short of his TransferMarkt valuation of €45 million.

Jose Mourinho called Bayern Munich star a 'top player' in 2023

With such a low price tag, the 28-year-old could be a shrewd addition for many clubs across Europe given his extensive experience and ability.

The former Serie A defender of the year is extremely quick and strong with an adept reading of the game and Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the South Korean.

In January 2023, Mourinho revealed that he tried to sign Kim when he was manager of Spurs, who wouldn't pay the asking price former club Fenerbahce demanded.

“I wanted to sign Kim at Tottenham, but the club did not help me out on that," he told a press conference.

“I had some FaceTime calls with him — our bid was €5m, Fenerbahçe wanted €10m for Kim and for Tottenham that wasn’t possible at that point.

“Now look at Kim and his level, he’s a top player”.

Bayern are widely expected to bring in Bayer Leverkusen and Germany centre-back Jonathan Tah on a free transfer in their latest raid on Bundesliga rivals.
