Arsenal fans spot what Jorginho was doing from touchline in Bournemouth win, he's a leader

The midfielder signed from Chelsea in the January transfer window and has been vital to Mikel Arteta's side

Arsenal have passed some major tests of their title credentials in recent weeks and the comeback victory over Bournemouth was another huge one.

Trailing 2-0 to the relegation strugglers on Saturday afternoon at the Emirates – having conceded a goal within the first 10 seconds – Mikel Arteta's men produced a stirring comeback to win 3-2.

Reiss Nelson's 97th minute winner capped a thrilling victory for the Gunners, after goals from Thomas Partey and Ben White had restored parity.

White and Nelson had started the day on the bench for Arsenal, with Nelson assisting White's goal as well as scoring his own – while another sub in Emile Smith Rowe set up the Partey strike. It truly was a day when the whole squad competed to keep Arsenal's title bid afloat.

And now footage has emerged of how Jorginho helped his teammates and played his part, despite remaining an unused substitute for the game.

The January signing from Chelsea has done his bit on the pitch at times in the past month or two, deputising in midfield when Partey was out injured.

But while on the sidelines to carry out his warm up during the Bournemouth game, Jorginho can be seen pointing and shouting instructions to Arsenal teammates – something that fans on social media have spotted and appreciated.

It seems that, despite not starting regularly, the 31-year-old is very much invested in the Gunners' title bid.

One fan said: "This man found love and passion at Arsenal. It doesn't matter if he's not playing."

Another suggested: "Love this, such a clever signing given the context of the season."

While one more saw a different kind of future for the Italian midfielder at the Emirates, adding: "What if he one day comes back as our academy coach?"

"We use to lack leaders, now we have so many of them," said another Arsenal fan. "I love Jorginho already."
