McLaren star Oscar Piastri has previously spoken about rumours linking him with a move to Red Bull Racing to replace Max Verstappen.
Verstappen, 27, has won four Formula 1 world titles in a row at Red Bull. However, the Dutchman's dominance is set to be ended by either Piastri or Lando Norris, with McLaren having the far superior car in the 2025 season.
Currently, Piastri sits top of the standings with 234 points, eight points ahead of Norris and 69 in front of Verstappen.

As a result of Red Bull's recent struggles and the shock sacking of Christian Horner, who was replaced as team principal and CEO by Laurent Mekies, Verstappen has been linked with a move away.
The reigning F1 world champion has been heavily linked with Mercedes, especially after team boss Toto Wolff admitted his interest in signing Verstappen.
With Verstappen's future uncertain, Red Bull will for sure be looking around to see which drivers could be tempted across to the Milton Keynes-based team.
Back in 2024, Piastri was linked with a move to Red Bull. The story came after Helmut Marko had hinted that Piastri’s manager, Mark Webber, was pushing to have discussions with the Milton Keynes squad over the young driver’s future.
At the time, when asked about the rumours, Piastri said: "I think we all know that Helmut says a lot of things in the press. As far as I’m aware there’s no truth to it.

"I’m very, very happy where I am. The team have supported me massively since I came into F1, they gave me my opportunity in F1. At the moment in the standings we’re in a very happy place, so I am more than happy with where I am at the moment."
To further show his commitment to McLaren, Piastri put pen to paper on a new deal in March this year.
He said: "It’s a great feeling knowing that I’m part of McLaren’s long-term vision. The team had the belief in me when we signed in 2022, and the journey we’ve gone on over the past two seasons to help return McLaren to the very top of the sport has been incredible.

"There are so many talented and special people working at MTC who have helped me to become a Formula 1 race winner very early in my career. Therefore, I’m very proud to be continuing to represent this legendary team for many years to come."
F1 will return at the end of July with the Belgian Grand Prix, taking place around the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps.
