Lewis Hamilton has created a cryptic post on Instagram after unfollowing Ferrari days before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
Hamilton fulfilled a childhood dream by signing with Ferrari for the 2025 season, penning a contract said to be worth £40 million per year.
After struggling with Mercedes towards the end of his tenure, Hamilton was hoping that the switch to the Scuderia would give him a new lease of life and help him in his bid to finally secure a record-breaking eighth Formula One title.
But it hasn't quite happened for Hamilton so far, as he lies in seventh place in the overall rankings - having failed to secure a podium finish in the first six races of the season.
Hamilton was highly irritated at the Miami Grand Prix and made a series of annoyed and sarcastic comments to his team, including telling "race engineer Riccardo Adami to “Have a tea break while you're at it".

Lewis Hamilton's first post since unfollowing Ferrari on Instagram
Hamilton co-chaired the 2025 Met Gala ahead of the next Grand Prix at the Imola Circuit but has raised eyebrows by his activity on Instagram.
For reasons unclear, Hamilton had a purge on his social media profile - unfollowing everyone - including Ferrari's official account, his foundation, clothing and drinks brands and even a page dedicated to his dog.

He shared a throwback snap of his younger self in his driving attire, simply captioning it, "The kid".
Lewis Hamilton's previous unfollowing spree
This is not the first time that Hamilton has embarked on a cleansing of his Instagram feed. He did so in 2021 after losing the Formula One title to Max Verstappen in the very final lap of the season in Abu Dhabi.
The most-followed F1 driver on Instagram by some distance, at the start of the year Hamilton followed a small numbers of accounts on Instagram but is now free of content on his feed.
