The lap times from the 2025 post-season testing in Abu Dhabi have been revealed, with a surprise name at the top of the standings.

On Sunday, the 2025 Formula 1 season ended at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi with Lando Norris winning the world title.

The Brit finished third in the Grand Prix, which was enough to stay ahead of Max Verstappen by two points in the final standings.

Norris was seen partying on Sunday night at the Amber Lounge inside the W Hotel at the Yas Marina Circuit, where tables cost £20,000.

On Tuesday morning, the freshly-crowned world champion was back in the car as he took part in the post-season Pirelli tyre test using the 2026 compound.

However, the 26-year-old was not the fastest driver on the track as he ended the session in fifth place with a best time of 1:26.142.

Meanwhile, Ferrari star Charles Leclerc recorded a fastest lap of 1:26.417.

Williams driver Carlos Sainz was slightly slower than the above-mentioned pair with a time of 1:26.454. Sainz was followed by Visa Cash App Racing Bulls' Liam Lawson.

Aside from the regular names, several young drivers were also on track, with Williams rising star Luke Browning setting the fastest time of the morning session, standing at 1:23:920, which was quicker than the time Norris set during last weekend's FP1 session in Abu Dhabi.

Closely following Browning was Aston Martin youngster Jak Crawford, who set a time of 1:25.261.

McLaren rookie Pato O'Ward completed the top three with his best lap clocking at 1:25.457.

The slowest time of the session was 1:28.138, set by Stoffel Vandoorne, who was driving for Aston Martin.

In the afternoon, Aston Martin's Crawford went quicker than Browning with a best lap of 1:23.766.

Meanhile, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton clocked a time of 1:26.138, which was slightly quicker than Norris' best effort.
