Lewis Hamilton's lap times compared to every driver as F1 testing ends in Bahrain

The three-day test ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season has ended.

Testing ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season has come to an end in the Middle East.

This week, all the attention switched to the Bahrain International Circuit as testing ahead of the new campaign took place from Wednesday to Friday.

During the first day, McLaren star and title favourite Lando Norris topped the timing sheet with a fastest lap of 1:30.430.

On Thursday, there was a shock name at the top as Williams driver Carlos Sainz clocked the fastest lap with a 1:29.348.

Testing ended on Friday afternoon, with Mercedes star George Russell finishing at the top of the standings, with a lap time of 1:29.545.

Prior to the action taking place this week, one of the main talking points was Lewis Hamilton's official Ferrari debut after his high-profile move from Mercedes.

Lewis Hamilton completes first official testing week as Ferrari driver

The 40-year-old had a slightly tricky session on Tuesday as he was seen making a number of mistakes around the track, but delivered a much improved performance on Day Two when he finished above teammate Charles Leclerc.

On Friday, Hamilton again came out on top against Leclerc as he clocked a fastest time of 1:30.345, with the Monegasque managing a best lap of 1:30.811.

Hamilton, though, was beaten by the likes of Pierre Gasly, Oscar Piastri, Alexander Albon, Max Verstappen and Russell.

The 2025 F1 season will begin with the Australian Grand Prix, which will be held around Albert Park in Melbourne on March 16.
