McLaren star Lando Norris is set to be given a 'special' FIA pass after winning the 2025 Formula 1 world title.
On Sunday, Norris reached the pinnacle of motorsports as he became the F1 world champion.
After finishing the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in third place behind Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen, the Brit managed to win the title by two points.
Reflecting on his title win, Norris said: "I mean, it feels amazing, I now know what Max feels like. I want to congratulate Max and Oscar, my two biggest competitors the whole season.

"It's been a pleasure to race against both of them and an honour, I've learned a lot from both of them as well. I've enjoyed it and it has been a long year but we did it and I'm so proud of everyone."
Now, following his title victory, it has been claimed that Norris will now be handed a special pass by F1's governing body, the FIA.

According to Richard Hopkins, who worked as Head of Operations at Red Bull and was previously logistics manager at McLaren, Norris will now be able to attend any Grand Prix without being asked for his accreditation.
Speaking to SPORTbible, in association with Wildz Casino, Hopkins said: "I'm sure he will not struggle to book a restaurant around the world now. You get a special FIA pass. Lando will be able to go to any Grand Prix around the world and not be asked for his accreditation.
"Apart from those silly ones, not really. He's a world champion, and as the broadcasters constantly said, there's only ever been 35 in the number of years it's been going, so it's a very small club. It's a very, very small club."

Hopkins went on to say that Norris' title win will now bring in more brand deals.
He added: "I'm sure his brand and his personal sponsors will be loving it. There will be people throwing themselves at him to get their sticker on his crash helmet and everything else. As far as that goes, it will be quite life-changing.
"He's a nice guy. He's a good guy. He's a genuine guy. And I'm sure there are lots of brands out there that will want to be associated with him. Apart from probably being able to jump the doctor's queue and get seat 1A, and probably nice watches on his wrist and all those sorts of things."
