How to secure tickets for The Hundred as cricket competition kicks off

Cricket fans, there's still time to be a part of this year's The Hundred if you're quick.

Held at the Lord's Cricket Ground, the annual competition takes place from 5 to 31 August, and is a special chance to see world-class players in action.

In case you missed last summer's event, the Oval Invincibles won the men's competition, whilst London Spirit took home the gong for the women's round.

At the time of writing, there's still a huge range of tickets up for grabs, from standard seats to the hospitality experience.

What is The Hundred?

For those of you who don't already know, The Hundred is a 100-ball British cricket competition. As opposed to the traditional county format, the event invites cities from up and down the UK to compete.

There are both men's and women's teams, which individually boast 15 players and run simultaneously. Each match sees both teams bat for 100 balls with the highest score winning. A faster format, each match is designed to last for two and a half hours.

The Hundred final will take place at the Lord's Cricket Ground on Sunday, August 31.

Which teams are playing in The Hundred this year?

Eight teams have been created for this year's The Hundred competition, each of which represent a city in the UK. Every squad boasts 15 players and you can find the full list of teams below. See you there?
