South Africa all-rounder Marco Jansen pulled off one of the most remarkable catches of all-time during an Indian Premier League match.
Jansen, one of the tallest players in the modern game at 6ft 8in, is currently playing for the Punjab Kings.
The 25-year-old has taken 162 T20 wickets at an average of 26, and has six half-centuries batting at a career strike-rate of 137.92.
But he is also an outstanding athletic fielder, with his height advantage making him a useful asset both in the slips or gully and in the outfield.

And he showed off his catching skills with an incredible one-handed grab during the Punjab Kings' match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
With Sunrisers on 169 for two in the 14th over, captain Ishan Kishan shovelled a lofted shot towards deep midwicket, which looked for all the world like it was heading over the boundary rope.
But up stepped Jansen, running across the boundary edge, to simply pluck the ball straight out of the air as his momentum carried him forward.
The South African made the catch look like it was nothing, and appeared to even surprise himself by taking it.
On commentary, former New Zealand fast bowler Danny Morrison shouted: "That's obscene! He's freaked himself out, has big Marco Jansen!
"It had to be him, with those huge mitts. Outstanding."
Jansen's catch ultimately played a key role in the PBKS picking up the victory, as they chased down a target of 220 with seven balls to spare.
Punjab captain and India international Shreyas Iyer smashed 69 off 33 balls, including five sixes, and was not out at the end at the MYS International Cricket Stadium.
Jansen was bought by the Kings for 7 crore (around £550,000) during the 2025 IPL mega-auction, and was one of the players retained by the franchise heading into the 2026 season.
He has taken 38 wickets across 39 IPL appearances for the PBKS, SRH and Mumbai Indians franchises, including a career-best tally of 16 at an average of 27 last year.
Jansen posted about the catch on his Instagram account, sharing the shocked reaction of team-mate and India international Arshdeep Singh along with the simple caption: "Yaaarrrrr!!"
