Everton are reportedly continuing to monitor on-loan Manchester City defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

The 20 year-old, who has made eight senior appearances for the Sky Blues, is currently on-loan at Burnley in the Sky Bet Championship.

Harwood-Bellis moved to the Lancashire club on a season-long loan in July, one of several signings from Manchester City made by manager Vincent Kompany.

The Clarets have had an enjoyable start to life in the Championship, with Kompany's side currently top of the table and having lost just twice.

Harwood-Bellis has featured in every Championship match for the former City captain, making 20 appearances and also being directly involved in three goals.

The season-long loan at Turf Moor is the 20 year-old defenders third loan spell in the division, having previously played for both Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers.

The centre-back also has experience working with Kompany, having played under the Belgian manager for Anderlecht.

Harwood-Bellis' impressive start the campaign has reportedly led to Premier League interest, with three top-flight teams regularly watching the defender.

Alan Nixon reports that Everton continue to monitor the 20 year-olds loan spell at Turf Moor.

The journalist also claims that Leicester City and Wolves are among the regular watchers of the defender.

Harwood-Bellis could be subject to transfer interest this summer, with the Englishman having penned a four-year contract in 2020.

The young defender was one of three City players to swap the Etihad for Turf Moor this summer, alongside Aro Muric and CJ Egan-Riley.

Harwood-Bellis made his Manchester City debut in 2019 against Preston North End in the Carabao Cup.

The defender also featured in the Champions League under Pep Guardiola, coming off the bench against Dinamo Zagreb.

City currently have five first-team centre-backs after adding Manuel Akanji to the squad on Deadline Day from Borussia Dortmund.

The Swiss defender has had an impressive start to life in England, making ten starts across the Premier League and Champions League.

Harwood-Bellis could therefore become an option for some Premier League sides in the summer of 2023.
