Manchester City have joined the race to sign a highly-rated Borussia Dortmund forward, according to fresh reports.

New reports from the Football Insider say the Premier League champions are targeting the signature of 17-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko, after their successful capture of Moukoko’s ex-team mate, Erling Haaland.

City’s recruitment team are keeping a close eye on Moukoko who is attracting a lot of attention from some of football’s biggest clubs.

Reports from Football Insider revealed that Liverpool were interested in the Dortmund striker after being impressed with the impact he has made at the club at such a young age.

It has also been revealed that the Germany U21 forward has agreed to join an England-based agency, Unique Sports Management, when he turns 18.

According to the new reports, Moukoko is firmly on the radar of City’s scouts who are tasked with finding the world’s most exciting youngsters.

It is reported that alongside Liverpool; Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also closely monitoring the progress of the Dortmund forward, and it is not hard to see why the world’s elite are watching.

He became the youngest player in Bundesliga history when he came on as a late substitute on 21st November, 2020, when he came on to replace current City striker Erling Haaland.
