Manchester City will close out their 2022/23 UEFA Champions League group stage campaign with a clash against La Liga outfit Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium tonight.

After a goalless draw in their last European outing, Pep Guardiola's side returned to winning and goalscoring ways on Saturday afternoon.

A fine solo strike from Kevin De Bruyne was the difference between Leicester City and Manchester City at the King Power Stadium, as the reigning Premier League champions picked up a crucial three points on the road.

That victory ensures that City remain within just two points of top-flight leaders Arsenal, who continued their own fine run of form during the first-half of the season with a 5-0 home win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Tonight's game at the Etihad Stadium against Spanish side Sevilla is as meaningless as professional football matches get, however.

Group G in the Champions League is all set, with Manchester City booking their place in the last-16 of the competition on matchday four via a 0-0 draw against FC Copenhagen.

Matchday five against Borussia Dortmund then saw City secure top spot in the group, despite yet another goalless draw.

As for tonight's visiting side, Sevilla will be playing UEFA Europa League football by the time club football is well underway in the new calendar year.

Since the two side's last met, the Spanish side have also overseen a managerial change.

After being with the club since 2019, Julen Lopetegui left the operation with renowned Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli coming in to replace him.

Ahead of kick-off in the final Champions League game of 2022, here is how both Manchester City and Sevilla line-up!

Manchester City

Starting XI: Ortega; Lewis, Dias, Laporte, Gomez; Gundogan, Palmer, Foden; Mahrez, Alvarez, Grealish.
