Manchester City begin their Champions League campaign with a group-stage clash away at Sevilla on Tuesday evening.

The Premier League champions maintained their unbeaten start to the season as they played out a 1-1 draw with Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa on Saturday.

Erling Haaland was on target for the 10th time in the Premier League this season after signing for £51 million from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

City enter the game in second place in the Premier League as Arsenal dropped their first points of the season in a 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford.

Pep Guardiola's side have drawn three of their last five outings, including a six-goal thriller against Barcelona in a charity friendly at Spotify Camp Nou in August.

A testing run of games looms for Manchester City, who also come up against Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and Wolves in the next two weeks.

After losing to Chelsea in the Champions League final in 2021, City reached the semi-final in Europe's elite club competition last season after getting past Sporting Lisbon and Atletico Madrid in the Round of 16 and quarter final stages.

A dramatic win over Real Madrid in the opening leg of the semi final was followed by a late collapse at the Santiago Bernabeu, where City went ahead but conceded thrice to crash out at the penultimate stage of the competition.

City remain hot in their pursuit of a maiden Champions League title in Pep Guardiola's seventh season at the Etihad Stadium.

Ahead of the 20:00 [UK] kick off at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium on Tuesday evening, here are the confirmed lineups from the Champions League encounter-
