Boxing fans may be fined up to £1,000 if they fail to do one thing before live-streaming Tyson Fury’s comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
On Saturday (April 11), Fury will compete for the first time in 16 months, with the ‘Gypsy King’ having previously retired for the fifth time after sustaining two successive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.
However, once again, the Brit has admitted that he cannot stay away from boxing, describing it as an “addiction” that he has “missed” in recent months.
The 37-year-old’s dance partner is Russia’s Makhmudov, who defeated Fury’s fellow Brit David Allen last time out to improve his professional record to 21 wins from 23 contests in the paid ranks.

The undercard features Conor Benn, who faces former world champion Regis Prograis in his first fight under the Zuffa Boxing banner following his hugely controversial split from long-time promoter and Matchroom Boxing chief Eddie Hearn.

Also on the undercard, British heavyweight champion Jamie ‘TKV’ Tshikeva takes on Richard Riakporhe, while 2020 Olympic bronze medallist Frazer Clarke faces Justis Huni in the same division.
Thousands will pack into Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while millions will be watching on streaming platform Netflix.
And while UK viewers do not need a TV licence to watch series and films on the platform, different rules apply when it comes to live streaming.
"If you are watching a TV programme that is being broadcast live on Netflix, you need to be covered by a TV Licence," TV Licensing explained to the Mirror.
"You don’t need a TV Licence to watch on-demand programmes on Netflix.”
If viewers choose to stream the fight live without a TV licence, they could face a £1,000 fine.
"You could be prosecuted if we find that you have been watching, recording or downloading programmes illegally,” TV Licensing added. “The maximum penalty is a £1,000 fine plus any legal costs and/or compensation you may be ordered to pay."
A standard colour TV licence costs £180 per year, while black and white ones cost £60.50.
Various exceptions and price alterations are also in place, with those over the age of 74 potentially entitled to a free licence. Those who are blind or severely sight impaired are also entitled to a half-price licence.
