Malik, the husband of Thierry Henry’s CBS colleague Kate Scott, has offered to train the former Arsenal forward if he chooses to compete in boxing.
Malik, who previously competed as a heavyweight, finishing his career with a record of 38 wins from 42 professional fights, currently trains fighters and has worked alongside former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, helping the “Bronze Bomber” prepare for his trilogy fight against Britain’s Tyson Fury.
The 46-year-old, who married TV presenter Kate Abdo – now Scott – in September 2024, has now offered his services to his wife’s CBS colleague Henry after snaps of the Frenchman’s impressive physique recently went viral.
On 14 March, the former Barcelona forward posted several videos of himself working out alongside his partner, Andrea Rajacic, prompting fans to react to his sculpted physique.
But could he soon take to the boxing ring?

Scott thinks Henry would be more than capable due to his “tough mental fortitude” and impressive physical prowess.
In an interview with Action Network, the American said: “When you look at his new physique, when I talk to him about it, he lets me know that he's cut down on sugar. That's what it's really dedicated to. He also wants everyone to basically cut down on sugar.
“I was just having a conversation with him about it the other day, and he's like, ‘Malik, just try it for a month, for two,’ and before you know it, you'll be feeling better. And he's just really on it. And it's paid dividends for him, because you see his physique — he's in shape.

“And I believe that with his mental strength and everything he had to overcome to be who he is today, that's what it would take to become a fighter, and I believe Henry has those qualities to do that. Not just in boxing, but any sport that he would have chosen.
“If Thierry Henry was interested in doing something with boxing, and he needed my help, I would be here for him, faster than Superman changes clothes. Definitely, I would do that and help him out with that.”
Despite Malik offering his services, it is unclear whether Henry would like to take him up on the offer, having retired from professional sport when he called time on his football career in 2014.
The 48-year-old former France international has spoken openly about playing the last decade of his football career with extreme pain in both Achilles tendons. It is unclear whether this would impact his ability to box.
